This is a fan page of Osaka-Japan's Exposition 1970 and its memorial park. This park is part of my sweet memories of my study in Japan at Osaka University from October 2009 until October 2012! I lived in Suita City from 2nd October 2009 to 18th April 2009 in Suita City at the International Students House (dormitory) and then from 18th May 2010 in Ibaraki City and Bampaku Park was 10 minutes by bicycle from my apartment.

Most of the pavilions were removed after the event and the monorails were demolished, and the place was converted into a beautiful park and it is now called Expo70 Commemoration Park.  or Bampaku-kinen Koen.

The symbol of the event and its place is the Tower of the Sun which was designed by Okamoto Tarou.

Today's monorail train system was built 20 years later (in 1990)!
